Re: Two Strokes versus Four strokes
Forktail,

I asked for advice and wanted some plussess and minuses. Instead I got some good advice and a lot of insults and smart alec remarks. I did learn two things that pretty much kill the whole argument. On the 18' foot aluminum boat I am looking to buy, the four stroke will cost me 25% more money for the whole rig and over 100 pounds in weight. That is with the lightest of the four strokes. I marsh fish exclusively in very shallow water. I can't afford the weight. The cost is a negative as well. It is the difference betwen getting the boat I like with all of the nice goodies I want or getting a four stroke and getting a stripped down boat. I appreciate your input. I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers.
