Refer to the diagram in the bottom portion of the page.

Now, if you are having trouble trimming out after trimming in, check the V2 for leaking or held open by a leaking V-3 or C-1 seat. Also check V-6, that it is not opening fully or that it is not plugged.

If it will not trim in immediately after trimming out, your V-8 is held open.

put motor back on boat trim works fine. Seems that when I was trimming up and down the oil level was dropping because the motor was off of the boat. Now that I have it on instead of taking off the newer controls can I just wire them to the relay box that is for the older controls? And if so will the switch on the motor work due to doing that?
