When I pull the drain plug in the left stern live well all the water runs directly into the bilge. This doesn't seem like a good idea. I could use a schematic for the live well system on my 2009 Tyee 1850. Comments?

Diehard, sorry I never got back here. I did some searching on your live well problem and got distracted. Never did find a schematic.

I agree it shouldn't drain into the bilge. I think there is likely a hose that has come loose. Do you have water in the bilge otherwise?

Have you tried Walleye Central? (walleyecentral.com) A lot of Lund owners post on their boating forum.

Re: Tyee 1850 Live Well Plumbing

Per some Lund experts, the compartment isn't considered as a true "livewell" but can be used that way by putting the plug in. It is really designed as a storage area with a drain (directly into the bilge). I am going to plumb it into the real live well drain system as soon as possible so that water doesn't accumulate in the bilge. Believe me, I keep the boat in a slip and, with the plug in and any amount of rainfall, the compartment fills up quickly.
