Governor Ted Kulongoski obviously took a page from baby bush's playbook. The very action and phylosophy you are complaining about has been done by the current adminstration ever since baby bush started having any resistance to getting his own way.

Double standards fail. Or do you really believe that your radical right camp can get away with anything you want but can then complain when your opponents start using the same tactics?

It is wrong to take political retribution, but isn't worse to ignore facts and allow a tragedy to occur because it doesn't agree with your opinion. Oh, wait that's right, that's why we still have the idiot-in-chief, king george.

You should see liberalism in action in Michigan. Governor Idiot decided to add ANOTHER 2% tax on services. 2% ! ! ! They are trying to legislate additional fines and increases in existing fines not for punitive reasons, to fill the state coffers. The unique to Michigan small business tax has business heading everywhere but to Michigan.

Meanwhile in the world the rest of us inhabit, residents are leaving the state in droves. And guess what they are taking with them. Yep, their taxes. So while she ignored a real opportunity with the new Honda Car Plant, now going into Indiana, her good buddies at the UAW can kiss her ring. Election won, unemployment up even with all the people flocking out of state. Heck they have a 250 day supply of houses on the market and almost none being built. Thank god they raised the minimum wage so those boarderline businesses can throw it in that much quicker and get those employee's on the public dole right away. The best part is we can now use this as a reason to increase taxes even more and provide a villian in the private industry. What exactly does the cost of living in San Fransicko have to do with the cost of living in Fargo, ND? But that is what we are expected to stomach.
