Typical Midships Wire Routing Starboard to Port

I'm getting ready to upgrade the audio system in my 2009 Regal 2700 and looking for a little help. I've done a lot of audio work in cars and my previous boat, so that part is covered. The Regal has the head unit mounted on the starboard sidewall near the admiral's seat, but the amp is inside of the helm storage compartment and there is a remote mounted on the helm. So I will need to route wiring for amps and the remote from port to starboard. How is wiring like this normally routed? I haven't removed sidewall panels to poke around because we are going boating Saturday, then I'll tear into the project on Sunday. Is it simply laid in the bilge, routed through conduit, or some other method? I'm mainly concerned about how challenging it will be to snake wires across the boat.

Going forward to aft will be easy, both sidewalls have conduit built in for wire routing. As a plan B I could always route down the port side, across the engine bay, and back up the starboard side, but that will take a lot more wire.

We can't see your boat but you can. You'll just have to look and poke around to find a path. Considering that there are longitudinal structural components in that area, there may be no easy path. There is always the long way around however.

In case someone else encounters this thread while searching, I ended up going down the side, across in the engine bay, and back up the other side. There are wires routed from port to starboard but I wasn't able to discern how, and they were securely clamped so I couldn't use an existing wire for snaking purposes. Probably installed during assembly.
