u-joint bellows grounding clips

I just bought a transom repair kit and the exhaust bellows came with 2 grounding clips and the ujoint bellows came with none. <br /><br />what function do these serve?<br /><br />Will it hurt anything not to use these on the u-joint bellows?

You should have them. They help to prevent corrosion to the ss clamps by grounding them to the rest of the drive.

I dont see the old ones hopefully as I disassemble they will appear

Do I glue the shift cable bellows?
