U-Joints Stuck! Volvo 270 Outdrive. AQ12B Engine. 86' Bayliner Capri.

Any suggestions? I pulled the gear box to replace the bellows on my Volvo270 Outdrive. It's been sitting on land for over ten years, and while it was properly covered for half of those years, it's still had quite a bit of exposure. The u-joints won't budge out of the back of the engine. i've been soaking it with pb blaster and prying with a pull bar. Any input would be awesome. Thanks.

I'd peal the bellows back and hit the side of the ujoint assembly with something heavy. Back and forth. It should slide off.

Awesome! Will do. I was definitely looking for permission to do just that. I'll make sure I'm careful, takung a little frustration out on the U-joints. Thanks agin. Ttys.
