I am starting to restore this boat. Does anyone know where I can print pictures of this model. The number TRS9V006M79F is on the back of the boat. I am not sure if this is a model # or serial #. Thanks

Is it stamped into a metal tag on the transom? If so I would bet that is the serial number. Look for a capacity chart somewhere easily visible, the model number is more than likely to be listed there. 1900DV Maybe;). Also, do you know what year it is? Can you post pictures of yours?

I was not able to find any pictures of my boat online until I did some digging in the used ads.

That is the Hull Identification Number...... your boat is a 1979 and it was made by

Finding pictures online would be pure luck. Now.... just by chance the telephone number "might" be valid and people have contacted the last owners before.

Do your photo search using Tri-Sonic instead of ultra sonic ;)

Re: Ultri-Sonic Ventura XLT 1900DV

Thanks for the help. Yes I will post photos when something new happens. I am hoping the owner, we live in the same town, took many pictures when he bought the boat. He is the only owner. All of the furniture has to be built from scratch or purchased. I am sure the floor will need to be replaced. We caught a lucky break from another friend. The motor in the boat is bad. The crank shaft will not turn. I was getting my truck service and mentioned to the shop manager I was getting ready to rebuid the boat and the motor will need to be replaced or rebuilt. When I told him I wanted to go back in with a 350, he informed me he had a marine ready 350 he will give me. At first I thought it was just to good to be true. When we went to pick it up he told me the story behind the motor. Another boat owner had 3, 350s that he would swap in amd out of his racing boat. He got sponsered and didn't need the motors anymore. All we have to do is swap external parts. When you consider we only paid 300 for the boat and the motor was free, I don't see how I could get hurt. We were hoping to be on the water this summer, but crappie fishing and turkey hunting seemed to be more important than stripping down a boat. I don't believe I want to rush this, so it will be late in the season or next season. I am looking forward to posting finished pic. So let me say to all that gives me input over the next 6 to 9 months, thank you. :D

Re: Ultri-Sonic Ventura XLT 1900DV

I found the plates with the model # on it, Ventura 1900DV. I also took some pics today. Does anyone have any suggestions on a book to help restoring this boat?
