Ok wise sages! ... I've picked up a new project.
It's a 1966 Mackenzie/Cherokee Aluminum. It 'had' an Evenrude on it, don't remember the size as it wasnt on there when I got it.
I was cleaning out the electrical box, I found the Ignition relay, and inside of the same box was this thing.
All the wires were cut, so I could not trace them...
It looks like an old panel board of some sort?

Anyways, Just seeing what I can salvage....

Those Voltage regulators are expensive to replace. If your's cannot be saved, and you want to use the generator-based charging system, perhaps someone like JC Whitney has something that will work for reasonable money.

The boat now has a 1971 50hp Johnson.
the guy bypassed the box with this, the starter relay, and the fuse panel.
He did some serious redneck rigging so I'm having to just rewire everything

A 71 50hp should have everything, Solenoid and all the connections under the cowl

That regulator doesn't look like there's too much "fix" left in it. JMO

Yeah, pretty rough looking. A transom box with the solenoid, regulator and panel would be consistent with the '66 hull age, though, so if you have the whole assembly it might be useful to somebody. They get left on hulls when the motors they went with are gone (think 40hp Evinrude with generator.) If you have the electric control box ("selectric"), that's in some demand.
