Don't let yourself get carried away by the well intentioned arm chair lawyers in the forum. I give you they are very well intentioned, but they are out of touch with reality.

I guess I missed something in this thread. I do not recall anyone suggesting anything that would be considered getting "carried away" or "out of touch with reality". I saw posts that advised OP to document with photos or video and bring the issue to attention of management and if that was unsuccessful, to seek redress through an available legal channel, which is to file an insurance claim with storage company's ins. co. or the plow operator's ins. co. Like I said, I guess I missed something.

As far as proving the issues you pointed out...it's not difficult in the civil arena, as long as you have decent documentation. One only needs to prove by preponderance of the evidence, which equates to 51% in layman's terms. It is a lot less than the burden of evidence in criminal matters, which is beyond a reasonable doubt or 99%. Of course, filing an insurance claim and/or filing a civil suit is not "easy", but it is a viable final option. I do not remember anyone on this thread advising OP that it is was quick, easy, or without hassle. Again, maybe I missed something.

I appreciate your contribution to the discussion, but you could have done it without demeaning others who have also meaningfully contributed to the discussion.

Yea, those pics arent the best. Was late at night and all i had on me was my cell. I did dig out the boat today, as the pile was yet to be moved. Luckily I found no damage. The snow was def packed tight up against it though. I'll be looking for another storage spot right quick. Would love an indoor one but I dont think there are too many around here.

10thHawk, glad you did not find any damage. Hope you can find a good place to store your boat. I had to store one in an storage place and it is never like having it at home. If you could find a place that does mostly boats you might be in better shape as usually they are more attune to the way boaters feel about their boats.

Again, maybe I missed something.

This point is moot now so I will answer your question. You missed:
1. That I did not single out anyone as a "arm chair lawyer". It was a generic statement.
2. You missed my thread and many other like it. It would have been a matter of time. Good thing there is no damage and this one ends here.

I miss where I was demeaning to anyone. I guess the "arm chair lawyer" statement is the one that bothers you. That was directed to the members that are not lawyers but tend to give legal advice (this includes me).
