AllDodge and woodonglass, my boat had the alumnium tank and it had one screw holding it down and was foamed in only on the bottom and just a little at each end, the tank coffin was not full of foam. Someone said check speedytanks.com for a custom tank, I did while not cheap at $914.00 I may go that route as the fittings would all be right. AND they coat the tank in epoxy, so I can mount it the same way as it was.

Cool, guess I should have emphasized the IF, as in if it was foamed in. I bought my tank from Florida marine Tank, will be probably similar cost, don't know. They use to be in FL now their in NC

There is no way to foam in a tank without getting voids and air pockets in the foam. Especially around the bottom and in reality all surfaces. I've seen a LOT of examples of foam in tanks that are totally destroyed that were Foamed in. Albeit they were NOT coated with anything. If you paint it first then the chances are greatly reduced. Anyone is free to do as they see fit. I'm just an Old Dumb Okie that's passing on what my research has discovered. Okies and Hillbillies are COUSINS!!!!
