UNDERNEATH boat???

On the bottom of my boat you can see a lot of wear...the white paint is gone. I was thinking of spreading some Marine Tech all over it (about a 4 sq. foot area). What do you guys think and is there something cheaper and better??
Thanks. Oh, when I had the floor out and was redoing the stringers you could see the sun shining through it...that is how thin it is...thanks

if i am imagining the repair area correctly.........its an area on the keel that has been scraped from beaching and trailering.......

ill base my assumptions on that......

if the area is worn badly....you should add a layer or two of glass on the area.(csm AND 1708)....then grind/sand smooth.....clean with aceitone.... fair it out and re gellcoat the area..or finish with marine tex...(thats a big area for marine tex).......or paint with endura, awl grip.....or just add a keel gaurd.

these are both a paint used on boats.......they are near legendary products in boat building......

but.......nothing.....nothing beats gellcoat
