Underwater Lighting

Thinking of adding some blue under water lighting to my boat. With an 18' boat...can I get away with just one light at the stern? Lights themselves are pretty pricey...so having to buy two may sway my decision to even add it in. Any brand in particular everyone likes? Leaning towards the Lumitec SeablazeX.

Lights themselves are pretty pricey...

Ayuh,..... This, ^^^, is what has kept me from doin' it for years,.....

With the advent of the Leds, I might start lookin' into something I can build myself,.....

I just got some neat led light hose,.... it's like white neon 1/4" tube light, only very flexible, 'n made of silicone rubber,...
Pretty bright,....
I'm gonna glue it to the perimeter of my truck grill for a daytime runnin' light, always on when the key is on,.....

A strip of it across the transom, might bring in abuncha bait fish,..... hmmmmmm.....
