I had the boat out this weekend and was going about 30 mph, I had the trim guage needle in the middle and I noticed it turned real easy to the left and took quite abit of effort to turn to the right. What would be causing this. any advise is greatly appreciated.. thanks

The torque of the engine is causing that. Adjust the torque tab in back of the prop on the lower unit. That's it's purpose.

Steering torque is caused by the rotation of the prop against the friction of the water the trim tab on the lower unit is designed to relieve the torque on the wheel. Then the boat is WOT and at optimum trim you adjust the tab to the direction the steering wheel is pulling until the torque is offset. After that is done any change in speed or trim will change the water friction on the lower unit thus causing torque on the wheel. All of this stuff is about as clear as mud I know but don't ever stop asking question when need to know.
