Unhooked

I have unhook my Vro on my 1988 evinrude 50hp and mixed the fuel myself. The thingfs the warning horn is now going off. I did unhook one red wire but not the whole set of wires. Is that what i should do?

Just pull the plug apart between VRO and harness. Preferably install a 'blind' plug in the harness end to prevent any shorts.

Don't forget to unplug the wires from the oil tank unless you already did.
