To any boat buffs out there, can anyone tell me what kind of boat this is? It doesn't have either name tag or serial number on it. I was thinking about buying it and I would like some information about it.

Re: Unidentified boat

No name, no numbers, no description, and no pictures.

Man, that sure makes it tough to identify.

It's a 1962 Starcraft Holiday. The engine is a 1972 85hp.

While you are trying to find the boat, help us locate you!

At the top of this page click on "My Profile" and enter your location. (City, State)
It will help in getting answers relevant to were you live.

Depending on what the boat turns out to be, you may need a Title and Registration for the boat and Trailer. (OR Not!)

boat identification

To any boat buffs, I wonder can you identify this boat for me? Thinking about buying it but there is no name or serial number on it. I would like to know if anyone has seen a boat like this and if so what kind of boat it is. Thank you.

Why aren't you adding these to your original thread? Don't just keep starting new threads. Use the "Reply" button on your original post.

I will merge this to your original thread.

Re: boat identification

Does the boat have a title?
If it does, the make may be on there.
Depending on the state, a title may be required for the boat.

... It has nothing, It came down from Ontario.

It came from out of the country. Yellow Flag!
There is no Title. Red Flag!
There are no Registration papers. Red Flag!
The Owner/Seller does not know what he is selling. Red Flag!

If you insist on buying this, be sure to go WITH the Seller to the Title Bureau and get the title in your name BEFORE handing over any money.
If he will not go to the Title Bureau with you. Red Flag!

Re: boat identification

It must be of very high value cause the owner take care to put a chain through the rim. I also like the fact that he send you pics from three very different angles...
