You confused me when you said is came "DOWN from Ontario"
Down usually refers to South.

Be careful on this one.
I'll still give the Yellow Flag for being out of Province.

Do you have any pictures of the Inside, Bow, and Stern?

that ain't from Ontario. In Ontario, (and all provinces now) all boats with more than 10HP engines must have a license number clearly displayed and permanently attached to both sides of the hull.
9 times out of 10, peeled off numbers can still be read in the right lighting.
You can't transfer the license without the paperwork.

If the boat is newer than 1975, it will have a Hull ID # pressed into the fiberglass or aluminum on the starboard side of the transom just above the rub rail. That can be decoded. Or in this case, phoned into the RCMP.
