Think my 1978 2.5L Chevy Luv truck will pull that? Hmm...I might need to put a K&N air filter on for a little extra power.

I see all kinds of work barges around the harbor here but I wonder why they used a bunch of outboards instead of a diesel-powered screw--maybe depth of water is an issue. With air conditioners on the office, you need a better generator than an OB, I would think.

At least the house is air conditioned. There are two units visible.

Re: Unidentified Floating Object

Look, it started out as the boat in my sig. Then the wife wanted it wider because 'honey, it's too, like.. tippy.' Then she wanted a 'balcony' cabin. Then it was enough room for everyone she knows to join us. And space to bring a car along, because 'you know, baby, there might be a shoe store nearby.'

And, well, there's that black teddy she wears sometimes, and... heck, aren't any of you guys married? Oh, sure, your wives never do stuff like this, right? HA!

i really wish everybody would stop making fun of my boat...

DING DING DING!!! Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!!

The above beast is/was built/designed for use in the BP oil cleanup. See the facebook page here; http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=474349&id=324136500404&ref=mf
The pics in the OP are from August or earlier.
It may have been used or going to be used during the BP oil leak.

But it was well under way (i.e. design and construction), by the time the leak happened.
