Unlucky with cool running

Have had several issues with overheating mercs 250's /200's/ now 150 opti.I flush engines after each use ,replace impellars,thermostats,strainers etc.and never run overloaded.I do run in the fla keys water temp is always 80deg+ still others with dfrnt makes of engine run cool.I have overheating troubles at least once a year.Does anyone else have constant overheating issues,I know some of you boat in cooler waters but still water circulation is water circulation . Yes I know cooler water is better ,reason why I ask if others have similar problems,I figure after so many years manufacture would see this ,I have contacted them to no positive response.

It's amazing how much a little algae or sand can fuddle things up.

You might try using Salt-Away. It works real well on Salty Dog motors. I'd imagine your very warm, salty water is especially hard on outboard motor cooling systems.........ed
