I know that the Javelin was made in '57 and it was a 35 hp. I believe they only made it for a year or 2 (maybe '56 & '58). It requires a pressure tank, but is a good motor. Most common parts should be available here on iboats.
Javelin was 56 30 hp 57. 35 hp basically a really dressed up 35 with electric start w generator optional in 57. It does seem to me a Javelin appeared in later years.These are excellent motors both
the Javelin and sea horse.Rugged,simple,reliable and pretty much bullet proof with reasonable care.Routine parts are readily available right here at Iboats more obscure parts from well established BRP
dealers and many vendors across the country.
One of the best motors built, I think. I had a few of these in the past. If it runs good, I think you would do good buying it. What's the condition and price on it? Has it had any work done on it recently?
