Just wanted to update and thank some folks for all their help. I almost hate to list any names because so many folks helped at different stages and I'd hate to forget anyone, but to be sure there were a few that stuck it out with me all the way. Some of those folks were....oldcatamount, nwcove, Don Hansen, HighTrim, and a special thanks to Joe Reeves. I know there were others along the way and many-many thanks to you as well but the folks I listed stuck with me the whole way, even when I just didn't get it and asked the same thing 5 times over. It's folks like you that make this world a better place. I truly appreciate your knowledge, your patience, and willingness to share it. Thank you.

The update is that I now have my motor running (see my signature) after 1 to 2 pulls max, it stays running and doesn't die out, and isn't shaking nearly like it was at low idle. Mind you, this is all in a test barrel so I haven't been able to tweak the high speed needle yet but that will be coming this weekend out on the lake and I'm pretty confident I'll get it dialed in. I just got fresh gas and oil and am raring to go! Stay tuned and I'll update in a few days if anyone is interested. Thanks again.

Bryan

Thanks nwcove. I actually did. I walked away for about a week. I was so darn obsessed with the whole project and just needed to step back and take a deep breath. Came back at it all refreshed and with a better attitude and just hung in there and got er' done. :)
