You know something the rest of us don't know?

The reason 12 channels is currently used is that there really are no more than 12 satellites visible at one time.

There are actually more than 24. I believe there are 26 but two are spares and not active.

Also in my area I can get 3 WAAS GEO's.

One of my units has 16 channels but when I look at the Satellites page I never see more than 10 or 11 and that is counting 2 or 3 WAAS Geo Stationary birds.
