Here's all the pics I got. The one rafted-up shot was taken by Horsepower on speedwake from his Excalibur.
I got zero of BillDC and crew, I never broke the cam out until late.

Thanks for posting up the pics! I brought the camera out and was going to take some pics of the raft up as we were joining up but forgot about it!

Anybody out today? How was it? Looked like a beautiful day as I was stuck inside at work.

A big THANKS to all who made it to the raftup.
I had a good time yesterday and made some new friends!
It had been awhile since I boated after dark; it's totally different than the daytime. No problem, BTW - unless you count Shane running the jonboat out of gas in the HdG channel (he just switched tanks).

Anybody out today? How was it? Looked like a beautiful day as I was stuck inside at work.

My wife came down for the afternoon and we took the jonboat to the back channel for awhile. I caught 2 yellow perch....another nice day for sure!

Sounds like it was a good time - maybe next time for me.

We were at Lake Clarke on Sunday - our second trip there but first that was a weekend day...holy carp that place is WILD! We launched around 9 AM and that wasn't bad but when we pulled out around 1:30 the place was a madhouse. It was a good test for us though that we passed with flying colors, unlike a lot of other knuckleheads we saw. I think I'll do the upper ramp next time tho, navigating the lower ramp parking lot is just too tight for our longer rig. IMHO what that lake needs is a ramp dedicated to PWCs. Oh, and we could caught a hundred catfish if we tried.

Glad to hear everyone had a fun and safe weekend.

Again, it was really nice to meet you guys and put some faces with names now! Sorry about getting out so late and keeping you till it got dark! Next time we will get out there eariler!! Glad to hear that everyone made it back safely!

Yeah, we avoid that place on weekends if at all possible! Madhouse just begins to describe it. (Especially the jetski part)

I work with a guy that has caught 40 catfish in one evening there! Thats a lot of fish!

I was there too!!! We lucked out majorly. We showed up around noon or so and it was mobbed but we lucked into a parking spot that opened up directly in front of the ramps!!!!!! And when we went to pull out we caught a break as well and didn't have to wait. It was a beautiful day for sure.

Hey Bowman - Yeah, I think we were hailing "Winter Dream" just as you were pulling away. I think that we passed you as you were in the water getting ready to ski. We did get out there pretty late so I can understand why you left.

Our plans changed so many times for that day I can't even remember them all! I am just glad that we made it out! My wife looked at all of the pictures with me and said that it looks like everyone had a lot of fun. I was happy to hear her say that because she was nervous about coming out.

Hope that we can make this happen again sometime! Maybe make it an annual event?


Great pics guys! Enjoyed looking through them and seeing what we missed. Hopefully that won't be the case for next time.

Thanks! I am sure that Christina will be happy to know that she wasn't the only one! She enjoyed meeting everyone!

We will have to take you up on that sometime. All though, we only have 2 out of the next 6 weekends open! Doesn't leave much time for boating Hoping that we can get down there those 2 weekends in August. (2nd and 4th weekend.) Man, I can't believe how fast this summer is flying by!

We will give you a holler closer to the time to see if something will work out.

yea, i feel like the water is just starting to get warm. Hopefully it will stay warm well into october like last year. We were crabbing nov. 1st last year in 75 degree weather.
