Upper Pivot(Anchor) Pin Question on Trim Unit

I have a stupid question here. My upper trilobe retaining pin sheared on my 1996 force 120hp trim unit. As a result the upper pivot (anchor) pin was slowly coming out. I hammered it back in and bought a trilobe retaining pin to put in it. Problem is, I can't get the retaining pin in there. How do you align the holes to where the pin will go in. I have the manuals, but I don't really understand them. It says "Align the upper pivot pin bore with the trim ram bore...". Then it has a picture that doesn't make sense to me. Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind. I figured it out. Working in the daylight sure does help things. lol.
I just turned the pivot pin using a screwdriver until I could see the hole, then I had to hammer the pin in farther to make the hole line up completely. Then I just hammered the trilobe pin in. Should be good as new.
