Urethane topside paint

I'm in the process of re-finishing the topside of a 30' cruiser, A paint company(Coronado) that I deal with suggested a 2 part urethane that they make . I t sounds to good to be true, 69.00 a gallon, any color , no primer,self-sealing, recoat in 4 hrs. dry in 6 hrs. Guaranteed for 6 yrs. <br /> The rep told me they sell it to 2 yacht companies<br />as a replacement for Imron. they call this stuff<br />"Superthane". I saw a boat that was painted with this stuff and it looks great.<br /> Has anyone heard of this paint?<br /> Ed.

Never heard of it but it sounds like a great price for a two part poly eurathane. I just paid $20 bucks for a pint of mixed to match PE for my outdrive. I'm a bit suspicious of the 'no primer' business, especially for fiberglass around water. <br /><br />On second thought, I bought a quart of Interlux Brightsides to paint my bilge with and they said no primer was necessary, just rough up the fiberglass and spray or roll.
