URGENT!!!Help needed re: 703 Control

Just won a brand new 703 remote control package on ebay and now have been informed there are 2 types of throttle control. There is a "PUSH" for throttle and a "PULL" for throttle. I own a 1990 Yamaha 115 2 stroke model #115ETLG. s/n 6E5 L 381153.
I really need to know what I've got before I complete sale. Thanks for your help.

you need a push to open,however you can convert the 703 from pull to push with the correct cam roller in the box.
I think its technical name is a throttle drum but the translation from japanese lost something.

Thankyou RODBOLT. So far so good! Now my next question is regarding part #'s for the 703 control. There seems to be many different #'s for a control that appears to be the same in most cases. Yamaha Part #703-48207-17-10 is what I won. Can somebody please tell me if this is compatible with my motor? Also if anyone knows what the -17-10 means as these are the 2 numbers that change when you look at a part list of 703's. Crossing my finger's that this one will work.

Why don't you do you research before bidding ?
If you are the winning bidder you should purchase even if it's the wrong part for you.

The 703 can do either just like Rodbolt said.
