...Ok Lipp I'm up...for the moment. Looks like the U.S has been playing some good hockey!
Time for Canada to tighten up and start controlling the puck a bit more...and moving the puck out...like...waaayyy better. Like one of the announcers said...Subban hasn't seen one of the goals yet so the defence has to get the heck out of the way and give him a chance to catch these.
First period advantage definitely goes to the U.S

That was a nice U.S goal, nice play....not good for us, but a nice goal.
Now...time to overcome a penalty and surprisingly the first one of the game?

I honestly don't see how chasing Subban was a good move though, Subban has been a beast and to remove him can only feed fuel to USA's fire

Thats a good point, but I think at this point in a game and tournament you have to guess that the kids confidence has (temporarily) shifted down and you don't really have the latitude time wise to let him get it back.
It is a very interesting series when the entire tournament direction is based on 1 game....it really changes things which is why I always think coaching is so important in it.
More hockey on the way....lets see how the momentum looks into the third...but I don't like starting with time left in a penalty.
Note: speaking of Goalies....Gibson is kicking some butts out there!!
