Use alpha gen 2 on a omc transom.

Hi. My cobra leg is getting very worn out and i was thinking about using a merc leg and and a conversion kit. The engine was rebuilt 2 years ago and i dont want to replace it yet.
I see that there is need of a modification, but where and what? Is it complicated or does anyone have some pictures?
