I recently bought a 1969 115hp Johnson ,with electric shift. I don't want burn out my CDI's because i wire this wrong. Did that once before and way too expensive to do again. Does any body know the color code for the stater switch on the dash, (not the control box) . I need to find out which wire goes to where and what color wire it is. Any help would be great.I have 7 wires coming from the loom. Red and black is the easy ones. The others are in questions.

I didn't see any color codeing for the wires. Thanks, That and for some reason I can't seem to the right chart for the 69 electric shift.

Also I need to apologize to everyone for the last post I had on here. I came down with unexpected health issues and had problems dealing with it for a while.

Your the Man. Thank you very much. One question if you don't mind. Why in the world would a wire be on the start power side of the starter solenoid? It serves no purpose unless you keep the key switch turning the starter over.

It may serve the purpose of providing 12 volts direct to the pulse pack during cranking.---------Does this wire on your motor have a diode on it ??---------Possibly put there as per a factory service bulletin.
