Don't know if the powers that be will change anything but I'll say it anyhow. I hate how the "used boat" selection in boats for sale works, or fails to work would be more accurate.

If I go in and select used boats and set the options and a top price I would expect to see, umm used boats with a price less than I set as the max. Seems reasonable right? What do I get though? Yup, listing after listing of new boats that all say "Call For Price" and it's always a listing from a dealer.

Could we please see used boats if that is what we select? How about not letting people use, "Call For Price"? I mean how do you "shop" if there are no prices? I can tell you how I do it, i go to other sites. Just sayin...

Good point. I'm sure the salesperson thinks that they are casting a bigger net by not including price and forcing you to decide on the boat itself because "Hey, everything is negotiable" but I have to tell you that when we were looking we didn't bother with any "Call for price" and instead just focused on the ones that had a price. At the end of the day, let folks know what they are looking to find out.

I always look at it as "too much $$$$ to say in writing" . . . So, I don't even bother looking at those adds. The P.I.T.A. of it is that if they come up first in the search, then you got to weed past them. If they come up last in the search, then you know when to stop reading.

I've told those in charge of that section. I have no control there.

There are two boxes for price that allow you to enter a price range. Enter $1 in the first box and whatever your max price is in the second box. That eliminates the "call for price" listings.

This does work.

Bubba1235, I do agree. I usually skip through classified ads if they have call for pricing as well.
