While not a ban in PA your VERY limited on body rust through which takes many cars with no real safety problem off the road

No holes bigger than a quarter, no holes with sharp or jagged edges, no holes into the passenger or trunk compartment of the vehicle ... all easy/cheap fixes ... just makes you keep after them so they do not get to be major.

My my my, we wouldn't want someone to get their finger caught in a hole or get cut up when you het them now would we Then for the passenger and trunk compartment, that old road salt gets all over everything if you don'tkeep the hole plugged

Thats why they sell so much duct tape in Pa. You knew it was inspection time for the Scout when Pop brought home about 3 rolls of duct tape.


FWIW. Japan does this with their cars; meaning recycle them within 10 yrs.
