Used outboard motor Parts??

I'm looking for someone that deals in used outboard motor parts.

I need a trim cylinder for my 1988 Suzuki DT85. If it leaks...its ok. As long as the shaft isn't buggered up I can use it.

Well I couldn't locate a used trim cylinder so...

I did something they said nobody ever tries...I rebuilt the one I had!
Made me a pin wrench to remove the top, a quick trip to the NAPA parts store for seals, then cleaned and reassembled. Topped off the reservoir with fresh Dextron and it's good as new!

...And the dealer tried to tell me to do what everyone else does...engae the relief valve and just use the tilt manually. HA! Guess I showed him!

Now the dealer wants to buy my pin wrench! I told him not a chance....but he could send me some business.

i bet u could make a good couble of bucks making them and selling them to dealers
