Used Suzuki parts!

Im looking for parts for a 86 dt150 specifically part number 34250-87d10 which is a tachometer control unit. anyone know where i can find this would be a great help. suzuki has discontinued this part so my only hope is a used one. also can i use one from a different year motor???? thanks for all the help. i love this forum. There are alot of genuine and well informed people on here. thanks

I think I PM'd you once before. Since you gave a part number, I was able to look it up on Browns Point micro fische.
I don't know if it will help you, but I have a blown 87 DT150 SS that has the same part discontinued and lists it as same part location on the diagram, #23. The part number listed, 34250-87d11 is the same as yours except the last digits is 11 not 10. Might be just the year difference, and possibly the same part. If you want to try it, PM me and we'll come to an agreement.
