Using a torque wrench to put in power head bolts

The repair manual for my outboard says to torque the power head bolts to 18-20 foot pounds. This calculates to 216-220 inch pounds. My torque wrench reads in inch pounds and goes to a max of 210. Does this sounds like a reasonable number to torque power head bolts to on a 5hp 4 stroke outboard?

18-20 Ft.-lbs. is actually 220-240 inch-lbs.
What size bolts?

Close. 18 X 12 = 216; 20 X 12 = 240 Appropriate for most 3/8" bolts.

I will use a 1/2" socket to put them in

1/2" socket usually is used on 5/16" bolts, but usually doesn't count. There are exceptions. Measure the bolt itself. 4-stroke eh? Possibly even Metric (???)

The 220-240 in lbs is right out of my OEM manual as the conversion for 18-20.
But I don't see torque values anywhere in that manual that high for any bolts.below 3/8".

When you say 1/2" socket, do you mean 1/2 " drive?
