Re: v6 crossflow heads

Just an update

Well have been fishing alot, cooler weather is great

55 degrees
45mph @5450

and the midrange seems to have more torque.
I am really happy with the setup now other than the top rpm but this motor just seems to not want to rpm up any higher but you never know cause it keeps suprising me.
I have finnished my other powerhead and that one has 110lbs on each hole without evey being run and will try that one in the spring as I have a new (not cracked) midsection to change and would like to paint and smooth the gearcase out (some pits)

We will have and apples to apples comparsion in the spring as I will post all the results with the rebuilt powerhead and will then go through this powerhead for a spare.

I am looking at another boat for next year and it has twins for twice the frustration  but also twice the fun :D cause 45 mph in 50 degree temps both water and air can get cold. I think I might rename my 19-6 aquasport soakin wet

Re: v6 crossflow heads

Thanks for the update. I get the same numbers from my V6 crossflow, I kind of gave up at 45mph and 5,400 to 5,500 RPM. I have followed your threads to get more ideas.
