Boat was dry docked for two years. When stored, the gas was mixed with fuel stabilizer. I have twin 4.3 engines. The port engine doesn't run as it should. It really hesitates between 2000-3500rpm. It stalls if I don't fan the throttle. Idle is good and over 3500rpm is good. So what do you folks think, perhaps a gummed-up carb jet????

Ayuh,.... I'd think atleast a rebuild by a professional shop, or a reman is in order,...

A thorough inspection of the entire fuel system is also a pretty good idea,...

Yeah it was the carb. I rebuilt the carb and it now runs like new. It crazy that this rebuild kit cost me 73 bucks where as when I rebuilt my Quadrajet 850 on my GTO last year it cost me 35 dollars. I sometimes 4get that marine parts are over priced.
