how much vaccum is created by an outboard on the line that leads to the fuel pump, also how much pressure is a fuel pump suppose to put out? Looking for rough estimates for troubleshooting on various outboards.

Re: Vaccum and fuel questions

1 to 3 PSI depending on the type of pump and RPM. The pump is basically a lift pump to get fuel from the tank to the float bowls. Engine vacuum takes it from there.
