Has the VRO fuel pump been replaced with an electric pump?

Does this hose plug into a brass fitting half anodized blue that fits a 7/8 " wrench?

If both are Yes replace the fitting with a small pipe plug, it was the crankcase pressure/vacuum pulse hose to the old fuel pump.

thanks benny , the vro is still hooked up and working. i feel its for something like you said about unburnt vapors though because when it comes out it curves up toward the air box then its plugged off.i will look at it more soon and try to trace it better

OK, the VRO is still connected.

The front cover oon the face of the carbs is supposed to have a recirculation hose plugged into the the hose nipple on the carb side, bottom on the port.

Is this about a 1/4 inch hose/bolt?
This cover is supposed to collect any fuel that pukes out of the carbs at full tilt on the trailer, the line recircs this fuel in as the engine is run thus not polluting the water when you down trim to run the engine.

i forgot to mention that it is 13 degrees out right now.wow its cold.i have to take off the top cover of the air box to see the hose its been since last year.ill save that job for later but idid notice what looks to be like an intake manfold bolt is worked loose 1/16 of an inch.i guess this could pose a vacuum leak problem also.man were is it going to end.
