Vacuum/Pressure Test tools - will these work ?

Right now I want to test fuel pump/VRO (1987 90HP). That Ev gear case tester is a killer.

the first one will create vaccuum to test for leaks and has a gauge to test vaccuum, secound is just a gauge. If you just want to see if its drawing vaccuum the secound will work. the first can be used to create vacuum and check for leaks aswell, believe same peeps use to check for gear case leak.
