I'm interested in a 2000 190, but the seller is asking $15,500 for what NADA puts around 11k as high retail.

I am in Madison, WI, if location matters. Just trying to see if this guy is way off, or that is what I should be expecting to pay for a 190 around that era.

I've found a semi-local 180 Sport for under 9k (2004), so a 190 that is 4 years older I would expect to be lower than 15.

What is a fair price for this boat here in WI?

Thanks!

It has the 5.0 Mercury.

I will jump all over the thing, don't worry :)

And if I could get a 1998 with a fiberglass floor for 5k less, is that a better buy?

A couple thoughts. You are in WI and I am in MN where boats command a lot of $ due to our 11,000 lakes and our decent economy. That is the old way of thinking however as I believe the economy has caught up to many boat owners. It is now the end of the boating season and there are more nice bowriders on CL than I have seen in a long time. The prices always go down as we approach fall and I will tell you although that particular Sea Ray is decent, It would nearly get flagged as spam on CL but because the price is so egregiously high. You could go 5 or 6 years newer for that kind of money and although the under 20 foot Sea Ray's are now more marketing than form, you could find something much more contemporary. What I will say however is that the 5.0 gets slimmer and slimmer in that price range excluding the SX line of Glastrons that are everywhere. You would more than likely see several with the 4.3. In the mid 2000's many brands overtook Sea Ray for desirability of their small bowriders in my opinion.

Hey, I love opinions.

Let's pretend I have around 10k to spend, would like to find a 19-22' Sea Ray (I just like them, for some reason). What should I be looking at in terms of year range for that kind of budget, plus or minus a few k?

I like 'em too but I really feel they are a bit overrated and there's lots of other equally good or better brands to consider. I think you'd be doing yourself a disservice by limited your search to SeaRays.
