Value of 2000 Mercury 175 EFI 2 Stroke

I just bought a new bass boat and my insurance company wants to know the value of the motor. It is a 2000 Mercury 175 EFI 2 stroke in excellent condition. very low hours and not a mark on the engine, it basically looks brand new. Can anyone give me a ballpark?

4 grand tops depending on what part of tha country your in..........NADA is gonna show less than that

Depends where you are and if they are asking for replacement value. What would it take to replace a 2000 175 EFI where you live? It would take $5K to 6K where I live IF I could find one. In the south you could probably do it for $3K to $4K or less.
