Value of a Trashed V4

Any idea of what the value might be of a mid-late 1980s OMC V4 - said to be complete but needing to be bored & new pistons?<br /><br />I am kinda looking for a project motor to rebuild as a spare for my boat. Got a call from my wrench saying he found one that I might be interested in so looking for what would be a fair price.

SoLittle,<br /><br />It's kind of up to you.<br /><br />Doing the work yourself, you can figure at least $2-300.00 per cylinder.<br /><br />If the lower unit looks good, it's probably worth a few hundred.
