Just wanted to know if any of you have tried or use these things. Was goin on 25 years of a pack and half a day and had enough. The cost was the main reason I decided to switch. I never knew how bad real cigs stink till I quit. Ive been vaping for 5 months now and wish I would've found this 10yrs ago.

No I still have an addiction to nicotine. Just a safer alternative to smoking. E-liquid still has measured amounts of nicotine. There is 4 chemicals in an e-cig,mostly water but compared to 4600 in a real cig and 64 of them are known to cause cancer.

Ive been mixing my own juices for 3 months now and have tried alot of flavors. I think my favorite so far is french vanilla then orange cream. The peach or strawberry isn't bad either. I didn't like the peanut butter cup or mint chocolate chip ice cream.

YES! Me and my wife tried one over 2 years ago and it was like a godsend.....I quit the real things the first day and my wife did in a week. I honestly believe that e-cigs could save millions of people from an early death or health problems that come from smoking. Chantix is an expensive joke along with serious side effects.

Just got my starter kit yesterday. Talked to a women a couple of weeks who said she'd been off tobacco cigs for 3 years and, while she always carries her e-cig, she rarely uses it anymore. I figured it can't hurt and might help.

Which kit did ya go with? The link below seems to be the best deal I found on starter kits, includes free bottle of juice. Flavor of ur choice.

I gradually weened off the %of nicotine until I was using nicotine free propolyene glycol. I carry mine but seldom use it anymore. These things cannot be beat if you really want to quit. Another cool thing is you can sneak a smoke anywhere without offending anyone.

Not knocking the product cause if it works for you, great. Stopping is a test of will power and I have none when it comes to cigs.

But this is the first time I've seen a stop smoking device with a USB cable. Struck me funny. Can't get away from 'puters for anything these days. ;) I'm going to be trying the non-vap E-cig. Chantix has too many strange side effects like the urge kill someone, too weird!

One of the best things I ever did. I was using teh cheap Walmart "Mystic" ones and refilling with my own flavors.

I did that for a month or 2 and then just quit completely. It was fun while I was vaping and even better now that I am completely done.

Re: Vaping E-Cigs

I was thinking about trying the e cigs . Shortly before last Easter I had a chest cold which made smoking even worse so I quit smoking. I havent bought a pack since then. I smoked for over 40 years and now seldom even think about them but do still dream about them.. Once you get the chemicals out of you the only thing you are dealing with is the physiological addiction. Just say NO good luck ,If I quit believe me anyone can. Many people think it will be much harder than it really is..keep trying

Re: Vaping E-Cigs

i have the e-cig that takes a cartridge and is usb rechargable and i can not stand the after taste and the weight stops me carrying it in my mouth. i use to prefer hand rolled as it was a pain to keep lit and i couldnt make one with dirty hands but i found that i was getting picked for every random drug test as people thought it was something else. what i found weird was i went to the uk last year and everyone i know is non smokers now and they all said i could smoke around them. day one i smoked about 4 by day 3 i was down to 1 then for another 10 days i didnt smoke at all even when some one else did. as soon as i got back to the u.s the first thing i did was light up like i had never stopped. i smoke when im bored and i get get bored real quick so i smoke less when im working with gasoline and resin as it takes a effort to step away from what im doing so im repairing another boat to keep me busy. my comapany sponsors stop smoking products i wonder if a boat counts

I wasn't looking to quit, just looking for a safer alternative. I need nicotine otherwise people around me would suffer.

I ask in all seriousness - How do you know when you're done smoking?

I smoke mostly out of boredom anymore and can see nicotining myself into head spinning oblivion without a butt to put out.

Well, I'm only a couple of days in but I'm getting an idea.

I got the Firelight Micro starting kit based on reviews, price and features. It has 4 nicotine strengths - high, medium, low and none. I got the high level and that is clearly too much. 3 or 4 draws on this and I'm getting buzzed. I think I'll jump to the low and if I'm short on nicotine I can always take a pinch.
