Carbs are clean, i looked at the reeds from manifold didn't remove them but didnt see anything wrong with them. i dont think its the coils ones brand new and other I swapped off a running evinrude 70, all the power pak wires look ok and are tight. iv messed with the max spark advance stop screw a bit but i think its pretty close it still tops out. hits full rpm revving in neutral any suggestions??

it doesnt sound to bad at idle.....or was that wot?? it does look like to much boat to expect the motor to make it a screamer. ( dont rev it in neutral to much...it may grenade!) and it wouldnt hurt to re-kit the carbs if you havent already done that.

i have a re kit coming in the mail already, i know its under powered for 15' trihull. and probably a little over propped, but It just sounds rough when its idling in gear, and in the video thats idle in gear or lil more throttle then idle. and Idle doesn't sound to bad but Idling in gear it shakes and seem to be erratic.

Sounds like it's running on one cyl.

still starts easy and idles ok, compression droped from 155 to 140 in cylinder 1, cy 2 still 155psi, something strange that iv never seen is when I compression checked it again my compression guage would not hold its number like the air was leaking out quick on the inside of the motor, first time my gauge has not held its spot after checking, sound like a crank seal/gasket anyone? or could a exhaust pipe seal be it??

If the rings are good and you are happy with fuel delivery and sure there are no intake leaks I would consider taking a closer look at the reed valves. If you haven't rebuilt the carbs yet then perhaps this is a good time? Are the carbs synchronized?

Try another compression gauge on it before you do anything else. It still sounds like it's running on one cyl at WOT.
