It is running a tad rich for the ambient temps (too much choke). But quite a few of mine do as well without this shaking. Normally the shaking transfers into the hull. On this one it looks like the engine is moving WAY too much.

On the flipside, if the motor mounts were an issue, I would assume the coupler or gimbal bearing would be toast by now. It has been operated for quite some time this way,

My 1987 3.0 140 shakes at start up too.......it smooths out tho pretty quickly..........does your's smooth out.. ever? if not, your mount points might be ill..

It does smooth out. But while running rough, it looks pretty severe.

if it smooths out prob not much to worry about.......when mines cold it's shakes like a dog crapping out peach pits...when she warms up, smooth and hardly moving...in hot weather does not shake at all......dont put peach pits in the tank ;). engines shake.. that's what they do,,,unless something is grossly out of balance, your prob good....

The cameraman seems to shake more than the engine.:D:D:D

I disconnected the electric choke on my boat (carb'ed 454) long ago. (If it's too cold to swim, it's too cold to boat!)

Try backing the choke off a little. Also, since you've been running so rich all this time, pull the plugs and either clean or replace them.
