viking ID and lower unit plug

Hello, I have viking 6HP outboard that i would like to identify (year and manufacturer). Below are the model and serial. The ultimate goal of this is to source a top plug for the lower unit (the guy who had it before me had rangled up a smaller plug and some sort of chaulking - ). Does anyone know if there are compatible plugs on the market or where i might source an old plug? I am in parry sound ontario. Thanks

That's a 1970 6hp, made by Chrysler. More than that, I can't help you with. I don't know if Chrysler used a standard size for those plugs, but you might try one from an outboard of about the same year. There seems to have been some sort of standard for such things.
