Re: VIP vision 1750 Year 1992 good for wakeboarding ?????
wow your boat is not the same , the vip vision 1750 1992 is different of your boat but thanks for your answer and when you say intermediate , what's tricks do you think for intermediate ? Railey, backroll, 360/720 ?
I/O's in the same size range are all going to be basically the same -- and the bigger the better up to 22-23'.
Any 17.5 is going to be on the small side for a wake boat. Adequate to learn the fundamentals, sure, but any advanced tricks are going to be very difficult unless you're 150 lb, strong, and have excellent technique.
I boarded behind a friends 1990 17-18' maxum, 3.0L last season. I was very limited on what I could do given the air I could get. Wake to wake 180's, a little grab, that was about the extent of it. 2-3' of air maybe.
Behind my 19.5' 4.3L w/tower I can land a tantrum almost every attempt. 180's several feet into the flats are common. 4-5' of air with any effort.
I'm 33, about 205 lb and not exactly "strong" for my weight anymore.
