Vista help

[Tater Head]

I bought my wife a Gateway lap top running vista and IE 7. The screen saver will not come on when the usb mouse receiver is plugged in. Screen saver works fine when the usb mouse receiver is pulled out. The screen saver works fine when the usb printer is plugged in.

Any ideas as to what the problem is?

IMO Vista Stinks!!! It is a memory hog, I actually bought a reconditioned laptop from Dell, instead of a new one a few months ago, just so I could get Windows XP, instead of Vista! Afterwards I found out you could actually get Windows XP on their new business computers
