I'll describe as best as I can. Engine starts fine. After I get her on plane and run for a while the engine basically will either shut down or if I hear it hiccup and pull the throttle back, it will idle fine. This occurred about 1/2 dozen times last year but this year I couldn't more then 4 or 5 miles before this happened. It is serviced every year by the yamaha dealer that I purchased from. So what I've done is: 1) replace fuel lines to the ball,I have replaced O2 sensor, gaskets, and stainless steel barbell piece. I'm thinking that this is now a fuel issue. But I'm going to replace all spark plugs this weekend, water seperator filter, and whatever a newbie can do. Couple of questions. Can I replace the inline fuel filters by myself? How many are there? Is there anything else that I can check to see if I can resolve this problem? I really want to do as much as I can before sending to the shop for the winter. Thanks

2002 VMax VZ150TLRA. Thanks. I don't want to post the piston's going bad. Just want to do what I can before handing over to the shop.
