Volvo 275 outboard oil

I've got a Volvo 275 outboard (Portion of the inboard-outboard)...outdrive may be the correct terminology.<br /><br />I do NOT have a manual at this point, can someone give me a "quarts required" for the outdrive oil?<br /><br />It's probably never been changed and I intend to do so.<br /><br /><br />Tx

Almost 3 quarts........ Usually.<br />Check the dipstick at about 2 and a half quarts. Give the level plenty of time to settle, and check the level is on the upper part of the flat on the dipstick. DO NOT screw the dipstick into the cap when checking the level, and do not overfill.
